Our knowledge of the Vedas dates back to many centuries ago. They have always been an eye-opener and a pathfinder for us in this big wide world where new cultures have over-shadowed our age-old Hindu traditions and beliefs. Yet, not only do the Vedas and Upanisads reflect our age-old traditions, cultures and beliefs, they also lay the very foundation of what we believe and follow even today to quite an extent. The first beginnings of our language and of all the languages indeed are embodied in the Vedas, as per the Manusmritis. The concepts of nature and life, relating to both the physical as well as the spiritual world, the beauty and sanctity of life and nature, all these and many more such facts are inscribed within the four Vedas as per Hinduism. The new generation might not agree to what I want to reveal here, but they cannot out-rightly shun my thoughts either, because they too are aware of the fact that the origin of the Vedas are the first original source of knowledge and diction to the world.
